Lately, I’ve heard a few horror stories from folks who have bought advertising.
A business bought a menu ad, paid for it, and never saw the ad. Neither did the restaurant. To be honest, I’ve heard this story a few times — not just about menus, but also about new magazines, websites, and telephone directories.
Practices such as these don’t do our ad sales any favors.
Coffee News is fun to read — and the advertising is generally more affordable, more frequent, and more visible than most venues that are available to small businesses.
Sometimes when I suggest that a business give Coffee News a try, they say “I tried a menu ad and wasn’t happy with the result.”
Well, Coffee News is available in most area restaurants, but it’s easy to see that it’s not a menu!
I’ve also heard this: “I paid for an ad and it never got published.”
There are scams, but sometimes it did get published and was buried deep inside a publication that received a minimal amount of distribution — such that the ad was nearly impossible to find.
When you advertise with Coffee News, you can rest assured we work hard to fulfill our small company’s mission: to help small and medium sized businesses grow with effective, affordable advertising.
It’s a two page publication and all the ads are on the front or the back. We seek out the highest traffic restaurants and waiting areas — over 450 of them — for our distribution.
We love to see our clients grow their businesses and advertise not just in Coffee News but in other places also — but we also want to see those advertising dollars spent for maximum value.
