I recently talked with a customer who had been running an ad in a magazine for some time.  One day, the new issue came out and it included a new ad by one of her competitors.  It was much bigger, and in a more prominent location.  Business is business, but this business owner felt betrayed.

At Coffee News, we don’t do that.  We don’t allow competitors.  If you advertise with us, you “own” your business category.  Your competition is locked out.  And we also never raise our rates for existing clients.

We’re a business seeking to make a profit, just like everybody else.  But we want to do more than just sell ad space.  We want a win-win relationship with our clients. We want to help their businesses grow with effective, affordable advertising.  We believe in loyalty.  We’re proud of the fact that many of our customers have been with us over three years.  Some have been with us over four years — since we first started publishing in this area.
